KIA Rio One of 10 Least Expensive Vehicles for 2007

According to “Automotive News”, the KIA Rio is one of the 10 least expensive vehicles available in the United States. In fact, it was third most affordable vehicle on the list. When compared with the most affordable vehicle, the Chevrolet Aveo, the Rio has a longer warranty, 5 years/60,000 miles vs. 3 years/36,000 miles and more horsepower – 110hp vs. 103hp.

Actually, you can expect plenty. Kia has made mighty strides in quality over the last few years, and the Spectra5 which got a considerable upgrade for ‘07 is a functional, sensible car. It’s even got a pinch of style. Not only was my test vehicle a bright cherry red, its front end featured a tough-looking black mesh grille.

John Crowe Joins Kia Motors America as VP of Service
