Today, Kia Motors announced details of their partnership with the 2008 Vans Warped tour, the premier summer music festival that is now in its 14th year.
Music Festival Details
According to Kia, the 8-week festival tour will visit 42 U.S. cities and reach approximately 700,000 fans. Each stop on the tour will feature day-long entertainment that includes live music, raffles, extreme sports, cultural activities, concessions and more.
Music will include the best in top-level talent (big name artists and buzz bands) from all genres of music that include Hip-Hop, Rock & Roll, Alternative and Punk.

Kia not only becomes the official automotive partner for the tour, but the Kia brand will also be integrated into all of the various sponsorship elements (on-air, online, offline) that go along with the tour.
Various elements that Kia has developed for the tour include an on-site Soul Lounge, which consists of an air-conditioned interactive Kia experience; outdoor vehicle displays (Spectra SX, Sportage LX w/Sport Pkg.), a special Soul vehicle display, partially-masked, customized with Van’s and Warped Tour logo, as well as an interior featuring Soul photos, product brochures and Kia dealer listings.
The Lounge will also feature a DJ, an airbrush tattoo artist, special premium giveaways, special artist signings and VIP wristband giveaways (for the Kia-sponsored main stage).
All festival participants will be eligible for Warped Tour Bonus Cash (coupons/rules attached) which is a $400 bonus cash coupon offered at all Warped Tour stops. The coupon valid for any Kia vehicle purchase (rules apply; complete rules printed on coupon and posted to kdealer.net). At select tour stops, an additional dealer test drive incentive will also be available.

In addition to everything else, Kia is sponsoring a sweepstakes titled “Experience Warped” where contestants can enter online for a chance to win tickets to the final Warped Tour stop in Los Angeles on August 17 (this promotion runs from May 30 – July 18 on Fuse.TV). Another contest, this one called “Keys To Ride” will enable contestants to enter online for a chance to win a Sportage EX or Spectra SX (winner’s choice of either model that runs from June 18 – September 18).
