Kia Motors struts its stuff at the 2008 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

Like no other Borrego you’ve ever seen
If you’re like most of us here at Summit Place Kia, you probably weren’t able to attend this year’s SEMA auto show in Las Vegas. At the show, Kia Motors had four concept vehicles on display. In addition to the Soul Burner and the Koup concept, which we’ve written about before, Kia introduced a new vehicle based on the Borrego.

The Borrego Limited concept, making its first appearance at the Las Vegas venue, brings a number of unique features to the stock Borrego. Under the heading of “bling”, new chrome exterior accents include a custom grille, unique front bumper ornamentation, side mirror housings, door handles and fender vents.

To give the Limited a more aggressive stance, Kia lowered the concept vehicle and added 22-inch Avarus chrome 5-spoke alloy wheels equipped with 285/45 R22 low-profile Spec-X tires. To complete the look, a black monochrome paint treatment was used, along with limousine-tinted windows.

Inside, this one-of-a-kind Borrego features from leather upholstery in an alligator-skin pattern and a surround-sound stereo system featuring a TV, DVD and navigation systems.
