Both the 2010 Kia Soul and the 2010 Kia Sedona are among the Top Recommended Vehicles by Edmunds while the Soul and the 2010 Kia Forte made Edmunds Favorite Cars for College Student list.

2009 was a great year for both Kia Motors and for both Summit Place Kia in Waterford, Michigan and Summit Place Kia in Canton, Michigan – metro Detroit’s top two Kia Dealers. But just as we thought we might be able to catch our breath before the all-new 2011 Kia Sorento reaches our showrooms, the consumer automotive web site Edmunds.com announced that the both the 2010 Kia Soul and the 2010 Kia Sedona minivan were named as “Top Recommended” vehicles for 2010.
In addition, Edmunds.com also listed the Soul, as well as the 2010 Forte sedan, as among the top 10 “Consumers’ Favorite Cars for College Students” with the automotive research site highlighting each vehicle for its individual ability to meet consumer needs in its respective segment while still offering buyers an outstanding value.
Three vehicles, two lists
“Soul and Forte provide buyers youthful and dynamically styled vehicles with an impressive array of standard safety features, high-tech features and extensive personalization options while Sedona presents excellent safety features, convenience and comfort,” said Michael Sprague, vice president, marketing of Kia Motors America (KMA). “It is a testament to the Kia brand to have all three vehicles that embody Kia’s core philosophies of quality, value, safety and style honored by a trusted online automotive resource like Edmunds.com.”
As part of its 2010 New Car Buying Guide, Edmunds.com selected its “Top Recommended” vehicles in order to help consumers with the new car buying process. The final list of new vehicles was compiled from multiple categories including sedans, trucks, wagons, minivans, SUVs, diesels, convertibles, coupes and vehicles designed specifically for mobility challenged drivers.
The “Consumers’ Favorite Cars for College Students” list is part of a monthly program in which Edmunds invites consumers to participate in surveys where they are able to vote on their favorite cars indifferent categories (such as luxury or midsize sedans, hybrids, convertibles, etc.). After the votes are tallied, the results are published online in order to assist buyers with future buying decisions.
